A three plate/tone, hand carved and pressed linocut print of my interpretation of a scene from the film Carol, staring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. Each piece is created using the ‘traditional’ linocut method and is hand pressed using a wooden spoon, with fine quality inks, onto Okawara 51 gsm Japanese paper. Hand pressing the lino for this piece evokes the 1950s nostalgia, in line with the film. 

This is a very limited run of 25 prints only. Each print is signed, titled and numbered and supported by a white backing board. The nature of hand pressed linocutting means that no two prints are exactly alike, making each print a one of a kind original!
